t was just last week that we heard the news about the possibility of Sony Ericsson's Xperia X3 to be released sometime in January 2010. However, interesting unboxing pictures of what undoubtedly looks like the X3 has already surfaced at a German website.
The series of pictures that appeared on the Mobile-Nova website shows the Rachael (code name for the Xperia X3) being systematically unboxed. What is interesting is that none of the images show the exterior of the package, which also looks quite flimsy thereby raising eyebrows as to how authentic this unboxing actually is. The version of the device shown in the unboxing pictures is the one in white.
The Android laden Xperia X3 is a powerful device loaded with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8 megapixel camera, 4 inch WVGA display, 3.5mm headset jack and a host of other features. The most sought after feature is undoubtedly the UI that at least from the initial videos looked extremely slick. Apart from the aforementioned unboxing images, a couple of other blurry shots have also emerged at SE-NSE Forums. All this X3 activity does make it obvious that Sony Ericsson will adhere to its scheduled January 2010 launch!
